Bird Trap, take #3

im looking forward to an early thanksgiving feast when I catch those dirty rotten magpies who stole my jerky rawhide chewy treats. ive been working on a variation of a popular recipe as follows:

.

good, huh! well so far hiring the squirrels to help didnt work cuz they took my snak payment and ran off and I still havent found out where to buy acme manufacturing co. products, so I guess im left to my own devices. tied a string around a piece of bacon id been saving and tied the other end to my paw so I will know when that bird takes the bait. now I just have to sit out here and wait…..      mmm… bacon….

Nooter - that looks like a fine recipe but considering that they outsmarted you with distracting you long enough to steal your rawhide treats, I think calling them dumb and stupid is not in your best interests.

Is that a picture of you, Nooter? I’d eat the bacon before the magpies get it. Oh and if you do roast magpie? Don’t invite me over. Those magpies are scavengers and are guarenteed to taste bad…although you will probably enjoy that flavor.

Nooter, I think you need to move past these birds. Birds are stupid and will only continue to do stupid bird stuff. It’s either that or carry an umbrella.

I too am looking for Acme manufacturing products. Until I find them (I’ll let you know if I do), want to borrow my BB gun?

Make sure you cook them inside one those turkey oven bags. It’ll leave juicy and tender (which may or may not have been my nickname in high school).

Here’s a variation on what the coyote tried…

Take a dish of bird seed.
Place it where the thieving magpies can see it.
    When they start eating, POUNCE!

If you lick your own ass, those magpies will taste devine!

    Bon Apetite!

Nooter, it sounds like you are starting a war. You know as long as you leave your snaks unattended the birds will win every time. Start burying your snaks.
